Over at the LBI Flowhouse today there's a Flow Tour USA stop. If you're not competing in it head on over there anyway because there's gonna be a ton of giveaways, music, and food—plus tons of great flowing. Good luck to our team riders Joey and Chris in the event.

Skim Series event #2 this Thursday

The second event of this year's Skim Series is set to go down this Thursday, July 28 at 5pm at Taylor Ave. in Beach Haven. If you haven't signed up yet you'd better get on it because slots are filling up fast, and we only take the first 40 entries. Brad Domke, The Aquanaut

Apparently Exile team rider Brad Domke is coming out with his own film, The Aquanaut, filmed down in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It's done entirely in Super8 film, giving it that old-school look. The trailer can be seen here at indee.tv/films/view/the-aquanaut/.

Nyjah Huston is unstoppable

kid cuts his dreads off and he's still unbeatable in Street League, going three for three after winning this past weekend's event in Arizona. Only one Street League contest remains, the Championship, taking place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Is there any doubt that Nyjah will also be taking that?

Skim Series event #1 in the books

The first Skim Series event of Surf Shack South's existence went down this past Thursday up at Taylor Ave. Though the skim was a bit on the tiny side, it didn't stop all the kids from having a blast. skim camp

We're going to be running three 2-day skim camps this summer with Shack riders Conor Willem, Dane Nugent, and Kyle Calandra. The camps will run from 8am-10am and will be $80 total for the 2 days, with instruction coming from three of the Island's best skimmers. Stop in the shop, call us, or email us to sign up. Hurry though because each two day camp is limited to 15 kids. All levels of instruction will be catered for each camper. The dates are as follows:

does Conor still skim?

That's a question we get asked a lot about Shack team rider Conor Willem. It's no secret that he's been killing it on a surfboard for years, and always has on a skimboard. He never stopped skimming, he just continues getting better and better at surfing that his surfing almost outshines his abilities on a skimboard these days. He's starring in a surf movie that hits this week, You Look Swell, and is also putting out his own skim vid soon. Here's the final teaser for it, Stoked Or Die:

Liberated

Kelsey, Ken, and Kevin of Liberation came down from Freehold last night amidst the holiday traffic to throw down the final premiere for "Liberate Yourself". The movie was definitely legit and a proud testament to Jersey skating and how much Kelsey puts into Liberation. A great kickoff to the 4th of July weekend. Thanks to everyone coming out, Kelsey for wrapping up the "Liberate Yourself" tour here, and for the Red Bull girls for stopping on by.
